Continuing the line of collaboration between the city of Cartagena, through the Municipal Institute of Social Services, and CEPAIM (Integral Action Foundation with Migrants), both organizations yesterday held a meeting chaired by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon , attended CEPAIM president, Juan Antonio Segura.
One of the topics discussed was the development of a work plan to develop a process of identifying and cataloging experiences of good practices in immigrant integration through participation and promoting local coexistence, work already is being made from the Foundation.
Also came face postures the possible organization of a European meeting Cartagena to discuss the transfer of good practices of integration and social cohesion, diversity management and intercultural community action.
In this vein, it should be noted that collaborative actions are underway CEPAIM City and to develop other ways of working, such as action projects in different neighborhoods of the city.
