Over three hundred college students have shared Salesians of Cartagena this morning with the mountaineer Cartagena, Carlos Garranzo. In the hall of the school, students of ESO and Bachillerato have followed closely the explanations of the sportsman, who have been cash, among other details, how you got started in the world of extreme sports.
The images were used to illustrate his early adventures in the Spanish mountains, and its challenges in Europe, Africa or America, reaching to crown Asia's highest peak, Mount Everest, with a height of 8,848 meters above sea level .
And for the record of this latest feat, Carlos has projected a video about how his expedition to the world's highest peak.
Also, the mountaineer Cartagena also has advanced his next adventure: the rise of one of the most difficult to climb ochomiles, Gasherbrum II in Pakistan. The interest among students during the presentation of the talk has been reflected in the Question Time, where climbers have answered all the questions raised by students.
This activity aimed at extreme sports has been organized by the ADE Program of the Department of Sports of Cartagena, and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Association of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia and Cartagena Club Sport for All.
