The Alternative Recreation Program has scheduled a monograph first aid for next Saturday, May 25, at the premises of the Youth Resource Center.
The monograph First Aid and Accident Prevention aims to provide basic knowledge acquisition to be able to provide proper help in case of accident or serious episodes or so and thus reduce the emotional stress that often create these situations.
The monograph is under a theoretical and practical perspective, since the content will work under the context of how we can and must act in situations that may endanger people we work with and what to do if there was an accident.
It is aimed at all those working with groups of people, particularly children, who for the responsibility that they bear want to develop knowledge about risk prevention. Monitors free time, volunteers, educators and all those who are interested in the subject.
Recognize risks and emergency situations, initial assistance to an injured person, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), choking, burns, bleeding, wounds, injuries, fainting, drowning and bites, are some of the topics.
The registration fee is $ 10 which includes all materials needed for the course.
The hours will be from 10 to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours.
