The Governing Board today authorized spending for the completion of these works, which will soon begin work once the final schedule closes with the concessionaire, to be between 6 and 9 months for execution
The Local Government Board, which met this morning under the direction of the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has authorized the expenditure available for completion of construction of the Palace of Sports, a total of 3.5 million euros included in municipal budgets , 2013.
The start of work could be in the coming days, as negotiations with the concessionaire of the work is well advanced and is preparing a schedule of works and payments so that once that once started, the deadline for execution will be between 6 and 9 months.
This was announced by the Town Administration Modernization, Internal Affairs, New Technologies, Employment and Sports, Jose Cabezas, who claimed that the goal of this government is to pay what we think right, not a euro, and the concessionaire of the works of the Palacio de Deportes got pretty much what was due by 90 percent, so that now the goal is to finish them, with these 3.5 million euros.
