On Friday, May 3 the jury organized by the Department of Culture and the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, will issue the ruling of the winners in the seven modes, at a ceremony to be held in El Batel at 20.00 hours
Young finalists between strings and brass 2013, organized by the Youth Council and the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena excitedly await the awards ceremony in the seven participating modes: Guitar, Strings, Percussion, Voice, Woodwinds, Brass and Piano.
The entrance to the closing event is free to fill seats.
The correct attitude of young musicians, paired with a high level once again consolidated the success of this edition.
Furthermore, the quality of the interpreters has hampered the jury's decision whose verdict will be announced on Friday, May 3, at 20.00 am in the Auditorium and Congress Palace El Batel.
The event will begin with the interpretation of Elias Romero Clares, winner of the XV edition of this competition last year in the form of Percussion.
His marimba sound accompanied the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra, directed by Gonzalo Berná Pic.'s Chosen piece is Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra, the work transcribed and adapted especially for this concert by Matthew Soto.
After his performance, proceed to the awards ceremony of the XVI edition climax in which the nerves of the finalists this year will surface.
How to round off this evening, the interpretation of the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, directed by Andrés Pérez Barnabas, who will play the following parts: Dance bacchanal of Samson and Delilah by Camille Saint-Saul «ns, and as the finale, Bolero by Maurice Ravel.
