The three specimens of ficus smaller than they were in the square of San Francisco have been moved to their final destinations by the Parks and Gardens.
After the preparatory work of pruning and trimming larger branches, proceeded last Thursday to his transfer to the subsequent planting.
These three copies dating from 1985, date of last renovation of the square. Ficus Two are at the Sports Palace though, as a result of the rains in recent days, there have been transplanted. The third is Health Center of Barrio de la Concepción.
Also, the Parks and Gardens City of Cartagena also been working this morning in the pruning and removal of five palm trees Plaza de San Francisco affected by infection of red palm weevil.
All these works are part of preparations for the refurbishment of the square, which are currently under contract, and is scheduled to begin in late May.
