Cartagena Rascasa Association (Calle Sol 16, Los Mateos) closed this morning Socio Skills workshop for a month has been teaching at fifteen students who have participated in this training Synergy Project.
Upon delivery of diplomas attended by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, the president of this organization, Incarnation Aguirre, and the Director General of Pensions, Ratings and Social Inclusion Programs, Miguel à ngel Miralles.
A suitcase full of skills and Incarnation has referred to the completion of this course, with a workload of 40 hours, has addressed social skills, basic computing and actively seeking employment.
Aged between 17 and 53 years, the profile of the participants, in the words of the president, corresponds to long-term unemployed and with a level of employability and training low.
For his part, the mayor of Cartagena has highlighted that it is people looking their way and thanked the work of such social entities.
Also pointed out that the City Council and the Government of the Region is still working and supporting these associations.
We're all in the same movie, it's about helping those most in need, stressed Miguel à ngel Miralles, who explained that these projects are financed through European funds in order for people to feel integrated into society.
A total of 25 associations in the region involved in the fight against social exclusion, as Miralles, who also added that the budget for this year has increased by 200,000 euros, 750,000 euros reached next year.
The Association also has courses Rascasa Set in the P rogram Initial Vocational Training and Integration with the API program. The event culminated with the words of the teachers who have appreciated the interest and desire to learn from the fifteen students.
