Throughout Wednesday morning April 17, and Thursday, April 18, Cartagena is celebrating the European Youth Festival Greco-Roman Theatre, which this year celebrates its thirtieth edition.
Organized by the Institute of Segóbriga Greco-Roman Theatre (Cuenca), in coordination with the IES Jiménez de la Espada of Cartagena, this conference will promote classical culture among students attending different representations in Torres Park Auditorium.
For Cartagena, this will be the eighteenth of the contest in which the culture department works, and that will start at 12.00 am with the work of Sophocles' Antigone, by the group The Theatre Aedo Cadiz town of El Puerto Santa Maria.
In the afternoon, this same group represents Host, Plautus at 17.00 hours.
On Thursday, the group will be to turn Selene IES Carlos III de Madrid, who play at midnight the play Electra by Sophocles, and at five pm, The Women's Assembly of Aristophanes.
This cultural event has also been developing in different parts of the Spanish geography as Almería, Granada, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or Pamplona.
