The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, has signed this afternoon in Murcia a collaboration agreement with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, in employment.
The first of these agreements provides forms and methods of joint working between the Department of Employment, through the SEF, and the city of Cartagena to facilitate citizens the way when looking for a job.
Cartagena City Council has no competence in employment, but puts his tools and resources available to the Department of Employment to assist in the development of all programs and activities designed to enable job creation.
The Municipal instrument for channeling these activities will be the Local Development Agency and Employment (ALDE).
Thus procedures are shared, resources, databases and information networks between the SEF and the city to facilitate the unemployed seeking a job.
The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has recognized that it is not easy to face the process of looking for a job, but the authorities should try to facilitate this process and guide the stopped as precisely as their training and labor demand, to find a job .
The collaboration agreement outlines actions in four areas:
- In the field of career guidance, a very important service within the resources offered by the administration to those seeking a job.

NO LABOR PRACTICES PRA
The second agreement signed provides for collaboration between the SEF and the city of Cartagena to facilitate labor practices of unemployed workers in companies in the municipality of Cartagena.
The Agency for Local Development and Employment collaborate in disseminating Township enterprises the possibility of establishing agreements for unemployed registered in the employment office aged between 18 and 25 years can make labor practices for a period of time between 3 and 9 months.
Persons accessing these business practices will support a scholarship amount of which shall be at least 80% of the current monthly IPREM (Home Calendar Public Income Multiplier Effect).
