The Slum Lady of Charity celebrates its eighteenth week of Contrast Cultures (16/04/2013)

The neighborhood cartagenera Virgin of Charity held from Monday 22 April until Sunday 28th November, its eighteenth week of Contrast Cultures.

This conference is organized by the City of Cartagena, through the Municipal Institute of Social Services, the Neighborhood Association Slum Lady of Charity, Club of the Third Age, ACCEM, College Football Hope Volunteer Group Red Cross Youth , Nigerian and Maghrebian Collective.

Under the slogan Footsteps, are scheduled a host of activities like sports training lectures, meetings of ethnic music from Nigeria and Morocco, petanque championship games and workshops for children and youth.

In addition, there is also provided a concentration biker, and a photo exhibition of works done by different groups in the neighborhood.

Events will take place at various venues in the neighborhood: Local Social, Social Chronicler Square, Athens Park and Ash Park Badia.

Besides the aforementioned organizers also assist in the implementation of these days the Councils of District 3 and 4, the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, TLA Program, Custom Aladroque Cartagena, Renacer Choreographic Group, Choral Group and Rondalla Virgin of Charity and referees Ãƒ College of Cartagena.

Below is the schedule for this eighteenth edition of the Week of Contrast Cultures of Our Lady of Charity neighborhood

Monday 22 April

- Talk Sports Training, School for Parents, by Eduardo Martínez Caro and Juan Carlos Lopez.

It will be at 18.00 on the Local Social

- Meetings with ethnic music of Friends, Nigeria, from 20.00 hours, at the Plaza Chronicler Casal.

Tuesday April 23

- Petanque Championship from 16.00 hours in the Athens Park.

- Children's Day: Fun games and workshops in the Local Social, starting at 17.00 hours.

- Mayor Day: Performance by the Choir and Rondalla, Virgen de la Caridad.

It will start at 18.00 in Local Social.

- Recognition of the oldest person in the neighborhood at 19.00 hours Local Social.

Wednesday April 24:

- Talks Sports Training, Game, taught by Councilman District 3 and 4, Alonso Gomez and Deputy Referees Association Ãƒ Cartagena, Juan Alonso Marchena.

It will be in Local Social at 18.00.

- Meetings with ethnic music of Friends, Morocco.

The show will start at 20.00 hours in the Plaza Chronicler Casal

Thursday April 25

- Children's Day, fun games and workshops from 17.00 in the Local Social.

- Film Forum at 19.00 hours Local Social.

Friday April 26

- Workshop Youth T-LA Program in Social Chronicler Square at 18.00.

- I Trovero meeting at 20.00 hours in the social.

Saturday April 27

- Journey to Terra Natura Murcia.

It will leave at ten o'clock from the Local Social time being provided back at five in the afternoon.
