Between 2,500 and 3,000 youths from scouts groups in the Region of Murcia, will participate on 19, 20 and 21 April at the Regional Camp San Jorge, his employer, in this year 2013, coinciding with the commemoration of the centenary of Federation, will be held in Cartagena, birthplace of Scouting in the region.

The Federation of Scouts of Murcia is an educational, independent, pluralistic, comprising 29 Groups Scouts scattered throughout the region and more than 3,000 partners, children and young people between 6 and 21 years.
The role played by these groups is to help make people self as individuals and play a constructive role in society through education in leisure time.
In the last five years, this movement composed of volunteers has grown in the region, around 800 kids more, making it the third largest scout movement in Spain, and plans to open new groups in two municipalities .
