The Governing Council has given the green light to a grant from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy in the amount of 2,384,983 euros for reservation and occupancy of 204 places in day center for people with intellectual disabilities in the city of Cartagena.

Thus, the regional government guarantees the benefits under the Law 39/2006 of 14 December on the Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for Dependent People.

Thus, the objective is to provide appropriate resources to provide a comprehensive and integrated care in society of people with intellectual disabilities.
