Social Care Councilman, Antonio Calderon, and the mayor of Environment, Palazón Carolina, accompanied on Thursday April 11, from 10:30 pm to clubs over Marfagones Mills and St. Joseph the Worker, which begin the cycle tours to Ecoparque of the trough activity organized by the Municipal Social Services in collaboration with Project Abraham.
The aim of these visits is to introduce the waste collection system that can be deposited in the Ecopark, the various means to get them there, and the treatment given to them, and, previously, were given several talks at the Seniors Club on environmental awareness.
During the visit, the greater will be accompanied by the representative of the Ecopark that will explain the different types of waste, showing the collection system and further handling.
Then pass to classroom-workshop, where a technical project discussed the visit Abraham, will address the questions and concerns and will explain some tips on household savings.
The activity will last approximately one hour and will be groups of about 15 or 20 people every day.
Apart from the visit tomorrow, and there are other concerted, such as the Mediterranean and New Private clubs Cartagena, to April 15, the Slum of San Ginés, to May 2, and the station and Slum Sector Latin America, to be held on May 15, all beginning at 10.30 hours.
