Councillor of Finance, Fatima Suanzes, this morning in the municipal council the progress of the liquidation of the budget of 2013, corresponding to the first three months of the year.
This places the running balance revenue by 20.53 percent than expected for the entire year.
Suanzes has justified these data, below 25 percent, noting that the main municipal taxes are collected in the third and fourth quarters of the year.
In exchange, also the costs incurred by the city in the first three months of the year, have remained below 25 percent of the budget for the year.
Specifically at 15.42 percent, which reflects the opinion of the councilor prudence and responsibility of the government team as to the execution of expenditure.
Fatima has also Suanzes full account of final settlement of municipal budgets in 2012, which has been defined as successful in terms of revenue and expenses.
This settlement has confirmed a surplus of 1.7 million euros, as a result of higher revenues by 13 percent to the budget, and expenditures, 10 percent less than the expected.
These good results Suanzes added the pace of payments to suppliers of the Municipal Treasury, which had settled on December 31 to 82 percent of the debt.
