On the occasion of the celebration of Holy Week, Cartagena Port of Cultures has organized a series of activities, the first of which is a open day on March 22, Good Friday.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy free use of the actions that have taken place in Cartagena in recent years to enhance tourism in the city.
So, may approach and the Punic Wall Interpretation Centre of the History of Cartagena, located in Concepción Castle, visit the Roman Cartagena in the House of Fortune, enjoy the Roman Theatre and its museum, and to determine the recent archaeological work, which has won the National Award for Restoration and Conservation, Neighborhood Roman Forum.
They can also find more recent history in the Refugio-Civil War Museum and Interpretation Centre of the Mediterranean Defensive Architecture at Fort Christmas.
In addition, all centers that integrate Cartagena Port of Cultures will be open every day of the week extending its hours to 19:00 hours, the Roman Theatre extended its visiting hours to 20:00 hours.
Meanwhile, on Monday, March 25, there will be a special opening for Easter, being able to visit during this time the Roman Theatre, the Roman Forum Barrio, panoramic elevator, Castillo de la Concepción and tourist boat.
Also new for this holiday season is the opening, after the restoration work being carried out, the tourist information point located in the port, in order to inform visitors who roam near the pier on attractive tourist city.
