The Cultural Association of Tarragona iCUE Cartageneros residents, held this weekend his Saturday Dolores, organized every year before Good Friday, in which they perform their traditional homage to the patron saint of Cartagena, the Virgin of Charity represented in the existing image in the church of Sant Joan Baptista Catalan city.
In the acts of this day was attended by councilors of the City of Cartagena, Isaiah Camarzana and Antonio Calderon, who took delivery of a floral center sent by the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and representatives of the municipalities of Tarragona and Reus, and the Commander Naval Tarragona, José Carlos Martínez Losada, closely linked to Cartagena by family relationships and belonging to the group of San Pedro californium.
The Mass in the Church of Sant Joan de Tarragona, (the previous four years of works in the same was held in Reus), ended with the singing of the Salve Cartagenera and subsequently held a fellowship meal at the Yacht Club Salou, where attendees shared experiences and memories.
