On Monday, March 11, at ten o'clock in the web www.rutadelasfortalezas.es will reopen enrollment in the IV route of the Strengths, military civic test organized by the Navy, through the School of Infantry Navy, and the city of Cartagena, which will be held on April 20.
439 places will be offered the test gener al, of the 51 kilometers, after the organization has decided to extend the 3200-3500 the number of participants and that 139 of those initially enrolled on 16 February, have not paid their registration.
As explained to the organizers, it was decided to expand the number of participants at the high number of people who had lost their dorsal and the possibility of assuming the logistics of these 300 new entrants, given the uncompetitive nature of the test.
Also, for the same reasons the child test will expand from 150 to 175 participants.
The Route of the Strengths IV will be held on Saturday April 20 and will consist of three tests.
The general test is reserved for over 18 years and have a tour of 51 kilometers, by major fortifications and hills surrounding Cartagena naval base, which must be completed within a maximum of 12 hours.
Participants in this test are divided into categories: Senior Men and Women (18-35 years), Veterans A Male and Female (36-49 years) and Male and Female Veterans B (50 and over).
As for testing child (6-12 years) and youth (12 to 17 years), have traveled 2.7 and 12 km respectively.
