Social Care Councilman, Antonio Calderón, accompanied by the director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, Antonio Mula, Thursday chaired the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates from the last edition which was held Training Course for Active Citizenship that drives this municipal area.
This is an action aimed at the immigrant population, which is configured as a complementary resource to learning Spanish classes for foreigners.
The goal is to create a space for the dissemination of basic information and concrete, to facilitate and ensure that new neighbors know the model of society in which they live.
It also provides professionals with the Centres of Social Services a tool to complement their work.
The topics treated in 8 sessions with a total duration of 16 hours (2 day), are: City and Violence in Neighborhoods, Women, health system, education system, social services, European Union and Spanish socio-political system, human rights and Minors and Employment.
