On Friday, March 8, Cartagena Firefighters will celebrate their patron, St. John of God.

On this occasion, at 11 am, has scheduled a Mass at the Basilica of Charity, to be attended by the area councilor Safety, Mariano García, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation, commanders and staff fire, and civilian and military authorities.

With over a hundred troops the Fire Department of the City of Cartagena, is one of the oldest in the region.

It was created in 1892 as Municipal Sapper Brigade-Fire in Cartagena and now occupies modern facilities in the Park The Hondón Security, along with local police and Civil Protection.
