The Committee shall Cartagena City Council has awarded 368,000 euros by the joint venture of Telefónica Spain and Telefónica Móviles Spain, fixed communications services voice, data and mobile, for a period of one year, extendable another.
The contest was convened as a matter open to all telephony operators a starting price of 490,000 euros, divided into two lots: one fixed telephony, data network and Internet access for 310,000 euros, and other mobile and mobile data, for 180,000 euros.
The offer of Telefónica companies have been the only ones that have been submitted to this contest, with a conspicuous reduction in each of the lots: offering 263,499 euros in the first and 104,960 euros in the second.
This ahorrase reach City Hall this year some 370,000 euros, as the regular budget this heading in prior years had hovered around 850,000 euros.
The contract, to be signed in the coming days, will provide fixed telephony, Internet and data communication to 1,200 public employees of the City of Cartagena, and will include the provision and service of about 400 mobile terminals assigned technical staff and policy makers .
