The full City Council today approved Cartagena modifying the 2013 budget, in order to enable cost items amounting to 1.7 million euros, bound for performing various works by the Department of Infrastructure and Services.
This amount comes from leftover credits investment allocations in the 2009 budget, which had been held by finance lending.
As explained by the Councillor of Finance, Fatima Suanzes, after completion of the work of closing and settlement of budget accounts for the year 2012, revealed the existence of these loans leftover from previous years, which were incorporated into the 2013 budget.
The Department of Infrastructure and Services apply this money in carrying out different works amounting to about two million since added a grant of 300,000 euros from the Autonomous Region for improved Siphon Road.
