Teatro Municipal School of Cartagena has called the Improv Match XI, within the activities of the next World Theatre Day 2013.
The contest will be held on March 21, at 18 pm in the Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso, according to the following bases:
In the same be open to all interested persons and non-theatrical knowledge and no age limit.
Participants will form groups with two actors necessarily a name for identification.
The maximum number of registered partners for this year will be 14 and it will respect strictly the order of registration.
The competition will consist in Improvision on a topic drawn randomly, which will be developed on a category to be defined previously and inadvertently.
They can be:
Drama: This is the action of giving a dramatic sense of improvisation.
Comedy: This is the action of giving a sense of comedic improvisation.
Style: as specified by the board.
(Classical Theatre of the Absurd etc).
Free: The team can choose any style of play, which you see fit.
With or without borders: No obligation to stay on the court or on the stage space.
The players may or may not use all the room if they wish.
The components once known its proposal be given 2 minutes to prepare and will develop it in a maximum of 5 minutes, being penalized exceed it.
The end of time will be for the initiation of background music that will rise up to the current maximum.
The jury composed of persons with extensive knowledge in theater and improvisation, will value the company complies with the provisions of the cards and to develop a proposal as close as possible to the basic principles of drama, creating the beginning, middle and outcome and of course value the creativity, originality and good acting.
There will be a first, second and third prize for the groups presented an award for best actor and best actress and any mention that the jury deems appropriate.
And will be delivered at the end of the competition after the jury deliberation.

Registration will take place through Wednesday March 20 through email lamurgateatro@teatrolamurga.com or at the headquarters of the Municipal School of Theatre, in class schedules, street Lope de Rueda, Cartagena.
It is free, as is the entrance to the Cultural Center the day of the competition to fill seats.
