The City of Cartagena and the Technical University organized a new free course, Youth Volunteer for environmental conservation.

Moreover, its implementation has the support of the Directorate General for the Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, Legal Protection of Children and Reform of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the School of Animation in Maraqua and Leisure IMPLICA2 Program of the Youth Council.
This training activity, 50 hours, is developed in the framework of the European project LIFE11 BIO/ES/727.
Among its objectives is the need to give students a basic understanding of how to conserve Garbancillo Tallante (Astragalus Nitidiflorus), while participants are trained in the use of conservation tools landscape of the region of Cartagena . Also, is conceived as a way of work essential to promote volunteerism among youth environmental Cartagena.
The course is designed for persons performing work or have environmental concerns in matters of this kind.
They must be m Ayores 16 years and be in possession of the Graduate School. Addition, students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena can apply for recognition of two free-college credits / 2 ECTS.
