The spokesperson Municpal People's Party, José Cabezos, has confirmed that the mayor of Cartagena and national representative, Pilar Barreiro, led the February 11 a written question to the Minister of Environment to know the plans of the department regarding the future Commonwealth Taibilla Channel.
Thus, responding to false manifestations of socialist councilor Charity Rives, who said "in a malicious mistake" that the mayor has not brought this issue to Congress, as promised in his day.
Charity says Rives Cabezos again shows "not aware of anything because with minimal effort to enter the Congress website would have found that Pilar Barreiro has fulfilled its commitment."
Municipal spokesman asks more rigorously socialist councilor in the performance of their work because it is unworthy "make accusations based on lies."
The mayor of Cartagena and Congresswoman addressed a question to the Minister of Environment, transferring the concern over the possible demise of the Commonwealth Taibilla Channel and stressing the importance of this public body and its exemplary performance.
