The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, has decreed the opening of a record of honors and awards to dedicate a square Niubó Antonio Brufau, president of Repsol.
Thus, the mayor picks up the proposal made ​​by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of the City, to one of the public spaces that give access to the plant of Repsol Oil Refinery in Escombreras Valley, take the name of the person who has decisively supported the modernization and expansion of this plant, which opened in April 2012 by the Prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbon, and that with an investment of 2,300 million euros is the largest industrial investment Spain's history.
The dossier will be submitted for public for a month so that the persons and entities who wish to join.
