The c oncejal Planning of the City of Cartagena, Joaquin Segado, met this morning with a representation of neighbors Alums and The Borricén interested in learning firsthand existing plans on installing Logistics Activities Zone (LAZ) in the municipality.
Segado have been informed that at present there is only an expert study commissioned by the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena in establishing a large area as suitable for installation but without setting a specific location.
In this regard, the council has defended the initiative as a good n resource to generate employment and promote economic activity and added that the city council in the overall interest of the municipality always safeguarding the interests of its citizens ¿.
Joaquin Segado is committed to keeping the locals informed of any step forward in the creation of the LAZ, whose location is consistent with the municipal urban plans in the area.
The councilman also manage a meeting of neighbors with officials of the Chamber of Commerce to learn firsthand data ZAL study that is scheduled for next week.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the neighborhood of Alums, residents of El Borricén and PSOE councilor, Juan Pedro Torrabla.
