The company reaches Murcia Alquibla Theatre on Thursday February 21 at Nuevo Teatro Circo depicting his version of the play by Federico Garcia Lorca, The House of Bernarda Alba.
The Company Alquibla accepts this challenge with the conviction that this is one of the riskiest stage projects.
The show, to be held in an open space occupied by only eight chairs occupying the eight players in the representation, persevere in the theme of confrontation between authority and freedom.
The function will be at 21:30 and tickets cost 18 to 15 euros.
The House of Bernarda Alba, considered the masterpiece of the theater of Federico García Lorca, presents a rural-road tragedy started with Blood Wedding and Yerma-continued, which overlaps with performance poetry photorealism.
Lorca wrote widening the permitted limits, ie, beyond what the public was willing to accept.
Somewhere between innovation and tradition, the work was conceived from the idea of ​​building the public Lorca, in search of a new audience.
Among the many readings, Alquibla has chosen an existentialist view of the tragedy, a telluric arise from the hot walls of the house of Bernarda, brings out the anguished longing for freedom and to be frustrated by repression.
The actresses who carry out the representation are Escribano Lola, Lola Martinez, Esperanza Clares, Veronica Bermudez, Toni Olmedo, Maria Alarcon Garcia and Josefina Castillo Allende, directed by Antonio Saura.
