Elementary students from the public school in Cartagena, Vicente Ros, today enjoyed a day of athletics at the local track thanks to ADE Program (Approach to Sport à ‰ lite) of the Sports Department of the City of Cartagena.
The sports session, as usual, has been led by Alfredo Castilla, athletic club president Elcano, who was accompanied by athletes and monitors, and Cristina Ferrer.
Before starting with the different tests, the students have done a tour of the sports facilities, and then give way to the various disciplines as they have been the long jump and height, and weight and speed tests.
In closing, the athletic club has presented cartagenero youth with a calendar as a reminder of their passage through this activity that pursues and promotes the importance of sport among young people.
The ADE program is organized by the Sports Department of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Association of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
