Councillor for Culture of the City of Cartagena and FUNCARELE Foundation president, Rosario Montero has received in the morning, Monday 18 February to 36 Italian students Spanish students in the auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences Company (formerly CIM).
Cartagena Foundation for Teaching Spanish Language and Culture is a center accredited by the Instituto Cervantes for the teaching of Spanish.
The stay of one week, is based on an intensive course of our language and its essence is to spread the language and culture, while promoting language tourism, in the words of Montero.
This initiative comes as a real opportunity for the city of Cartagena crossing borders.
And, in addition to taking classes, students, aged between 17 and 18 years, will visit cultural and other experiences related to the city and its surroundings.
Isaac, coordinator of the Italian students, argues that cartageneras Homestay is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the language as it forces students to communicate with others.
The excitement, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are the feelings that arise from these students who landed in last night for the first time in Cartagena.
