The Department of Social Care has organized the V Petanque Championship, within the larger social and cultural activities aimed at 2013.

The councilor responsible for Rea, Antonio Calderon was asked on Monday to make the kick-off in the boule of Vista Alegre.

The championship will take place in the fields of petanque clubs registered higher on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 16.00 pm until May 8.

The participating teams are: Alums, Vista Alegre (2), Barrio de la Concepción (2), Marfagones Mills (2), Los Barreros, José María Lapuerta, Slum Lady of Charity and Cartagena III.
