The Local Government of the City of Cartagena will meet on Friday, February 8, under the chairmanship of Mayor, Pilar Barreiro.
The meeting will be held ordinary and starting at half past nine in the council room of the Palace Hall.
Among the various issues on the agenda, the Board is expected to approve the accession of the City of Cartagena to the agreement concluded between the Government of the Nation, the banks and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities for Building Social Housing Funds.
Through this agreement the City of Cartagena will collaborate in the development of social reports required to rent to families evicted from homes this background, some 6,000 in Spain provided by financial institutions.
The Governing Board also plans to extend the service for a few days of installation and operation chairs Easter.
The current contract expired on Holy Tuesday evening and the City Council has considered the best option to extend the contract until Easter Sunday.
Also among other matters, the Governing Board approve the agreements for the cession of seven offices in the Hotel of Youth Associations Quarries to as many youth associations, which have been selected in the competition summoned.
Finally the Governing Board ratify the agreements reached at the General Board of negotiations with representatives of municipal employees last December, regarding working time and holidays for the year 2013, and the regime of special dedication (RED) for police, fire and municipal brigades.
