The president of the Association of the Year Procesionista, Santiago Diaz, along with Vice President José Arroyo, met this morning with the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, and the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, to inform, as honorary president of the entity, the acts that the association is preparing for Lent.
And the first example, the call Procesionista Award 2013, which will be drawn on Monday, February 11, and whose name will be revealed to the jury after 14.30 hours, at the headquarters of the Royal Economic Society Friends of the Country.
This is the XXXII edition of an award that was launched in 1982, inaugurating the list Luis Linares bottle, and is designed to recognize the work of men and women who have dedicated their lives to the Easter Cartagena.
To qualify for the award, simply submit a curriculum endorsed by ten firms.
Besides the choice of Procesionista the Year, will be honored on March 15 afternoon at the Palace Hall, the Association is also preparing a religious act, the imposition of the Medal on Saturday February 16 at the Church of Charity , and a series of conferences to be held during the third week of February.
