The Maritime Rescue boat Salvamar Mimosa this morning rescued 11 crew members of the Coastal longliner Second, with home port in Algeciras, who were in two liferafts within 23 miles SE of Cartagena.
The castaways proceeded Second Coastal cessation due to a water leak and is currently fishing semihundido.
The Mimosa Salvamar addresses Cartagena with 11 people rescued, they are in good condition, and its arrival is scheduled for 12.00 hours.
The fishing Marufina longliner received a call reporting that had a leak and was sinking.
The pattern of Marufina contacted a relative who was on the ground and this with the Maritime Rescue Centre based in Madrid that launched the rescue.
Salvage mobilized Helimer 202 helicopter, based in Almería, and rapid intervention vessel Salvamar Mimosa, based in Cartagena who participated in the search engine of the 11 castaways.
