The Exhibition Hall of the Palace welcomes Molina from Friday 1 February to 23 this month, an exhibition on the Band Appearance of Jesus to St. Thomas, of the Brotherhood of the Risen, starting with the commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of that group.
In the opening ceremony of the exhibition, under the title 50 years with doubt, the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, accompanied the brothers who attended the event with his older brother, Thomas Martinez Pagan, head.
The show, chaired by the sculpture of the appearance of Jesus to St. Thomas, carved in 1965 by Federico Coullaut-Valera, also includes photographs of several times the group showing from its beginnings in the Holy Week processions, costumes, banners , hachotes and other objects.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10.30 to 13.30 and 17 to 20.30 hours.
HALF A CENTURY OF HISTORY
The Association of the appearance of Jesus to St. Thomas was founded on March 12, 1963, in the company's local fruit and vegetable wholesaler English and Giménez, in the old market of the Real Cartagena.
On April 1 of that year obtained authorization from the Bureau of the Brotherhood of the Risen to start working as a group.
His first outing in procession on Easter Sunday was April 18, 1965.
