Team Cartagena City Government propose to local political groups approving an official statement on the next full day on February 5, in defense of the Commonwealth Taibilla channel, as announced by the spokesman, José Cabezos.
According to the council, the declaration will aim to support the management that the Commonwealth has been doing throughout its existence, as it did yesterday full Regional Assembly.
The statement also establish that no objective reason to alter the operating model of the Commonwealth, and the need for the agency to continue to provide service to the community with the same efficiency that has shown up today.
Government spokesman noted, finally, that no one wants to take any decision that harms or endangers the functioning copy of this organism.
The mayor, Pilar Barreiro, in his dual capacity as lawmaker, plans to introduce today an initiative in this sense in the Congress of Deputies.
Both initiatives are part of the efforts being undertaken to prevent a possible change in the operating model of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channels, such as its integration into society Acuamed, which manages the maintenance of the desalination plants and accumulates a significant deficit.
