The result of joint work and coordination between the city of Cartagena and Murcia Safety Foundation to assist institutions of municipal social action has materialized today with the delivery of four of them, a check for more than 4,000 euros each.
Hospitality is Santa Teresa, the Good Samaritan, the San Diego Dining and Food Bank, which has distributed more than 18,000 euros from the collection of New Year Concert held on January 3 in The Batel.
The ceremony was chaired by Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon and Pascual Martinez, of the Fundación Caja Murcia.
Calderon insisted on highlighting the high level of solidarity shown by the people of Cartagena that despite the crisis, have not hesitated to attend an event to benefit those most in need.
In this line, Pascual Martinez stated that, given the success of the initiative, and are working from the Foundation along with the city to launch new charity projects.
