The Stock Exchange of Languages, the European Language Label 2008, has been selected as an example of good practice by NELLIP network, which aims to promote quality in language learning.
The Language Exchange, under the Youth Department of the City of Cartagena, is a project that was initially conceived as an informal program where the figures of the teacher, the classroom, textbooks or teaching were not present.
In addition, also worked for the Exchange Language wake trust for reliability, professionalism and dedication that was made, hence was received with such enthusiasm the European Language Label in 2008.
This award is an award for quality initiatives in the area of teaching and learning languages. Annually in each European country grants the European Language Label for innovative learning initiatives.
This award is coordinated by the European Commission, but is managed by national agencies designated in each Member State.
The criteria for the granting of the same were agreed at European level, but each country can enter specific requirements.
