After today's visit to the mayor, the new board of the Hospitality Association has announced that the city will conduct a feasibility study on the municipality to improve the quality of tourism in the area
The president of the Hospitality Association of Cartagena (HOSTECAR), Francisca Naranjo, along with its new policy, have held a meeting in the morning with the city's mayor, Pilar Barreiro, at the Palace Hall.
During the formal meeting, the newly re-elected president has informed Barreiro HOSTECAR the intention of carrying out a project for the seasonally adjusted term tourism market district of Cartagena and Mar Menor.
The aim of this feasibility study, which is expected to contribute the Consistory, is simply to assess the weaknesses and opportunities in the current industry to improve the tourist offer.
The Association has also moved to the mayor the existing disagreement on three issues.
The first one is linked to the excessive price of the terraces, as Francisca Naranjo, so asking for a review of the current parameters of study.
Second, the bottle in the Historic areas, a request that has had the
Council's commitment to find a solution, in the words of Naranjo.
And ultimately, has requested to expedite the paperwork that is compelling the creation of new businesses catering in Cartagena.
The new president has stressed the need for clear and precise projects, undertaken by
qualified technicians, and always on the basis that the
social returns in the future.
For this, it has been compared with the current revenue Cartagena Port of Cultures, and the implications today for the city as a tourist attraction.
