The First Conference of Security and Defence Policy, presented today at the Regional Assembly, meeting from 15 to 18 January in Cartagena to a panel of experts in many different areas, through presentations and round tables, broken down the role that the Armed Forces , the State Security Forces and related institutions do to ensure peace and social harmony.

Organized under the cooperation agreement between the Regional Assembly of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the days have been presented at the conference hall of the parliament building.
The President of the Regional Assembly of Murcia, Francisco Vidal Celdran has glossed the wisdom of such an opportunity for the chosen topic, the qualifications of the speakers and place for its implementation, the Region of Murcia, and specifically the city of Cartagena where there is a special relationship between the military and civil society.
Admiral Maritime Action, Salvador Delgado Moreno, praised the organization of this conference and of any initiative aimed to raise awareness of the security and defense policy, given the existing knowledge gap Defense, and in particular on what make the military in defense of Spain.
