The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, received this morning at the Palace Hall, the n ew director Repsol refinery in Escombreras, Juan Antonio Carrillo de Albornoz Weaver, who is replacing Jose Luque made.
The new leader, who comes from the refinery in Puertollano in Ciudad Real, has referred to the facilities of petrochemical complex in Cartagena as the best in Europe.
Also commented that this new position comes as a professional challenge in which precedence continuity management, in line with what has been done so far to improve the competitiveness of Repsol.
For his part, José Luque, said that, as happened with the C10 project, will continue to rely on local and regional companies, with significant participation.
Regarding the balance of the last expansion of the plant in Cartagena, held in September 2011, the now outgoing director has stated that there have been quite a few variables and optimize therefore, meets the expectations set regarding load, performance and operations.
