The government delegate in Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, this morning visited the National Police Station Cartagena to personally congratulate the Chief Commissioner, Alfonso Navarro, and the officers involved in the operation that led to the seizure a few days ago of a truck 111 kilos of cocaine hidden in a vegetable truck.
The Government delegate, who was accompanied by the Police Commissioner in the Region of Murcia, Cyril Durán, stressed the importance of an operation that has prevented the placing on the market of a commodity whose value is approximate gross six million euros, figure tripled to eighteen million in retail.
Bascuñana highlighted the complexity of the operation and the excellent coordination between all units of the police station in Cartagena, whose results are shown in operations like this.
The Government delegate welcomed the commitment, professionalism and the excellent work performed by social Forces of State Security, that all citizens can live in peace.
