Coinciding with the holiday season, the city of Cartagena de Los Belones has organized a series of sports-themed events that will take place from Thursday, December 27 to Sunday December 30.
The opening day starts at 12.00 with two interesting exhibitions football.
The first exhibition takes a journey from 1900 to 2012 offering the public more than 60 soccer balls belonging to all major competitions such as the National League, Europe, the World Cup or the Champions League.
Meanwhile, the second, paid tribute to the footballing career of Juan Huertas, Efesé player, Hercules and Yeclano in the 80s and 90s.
Graphic images, press clippings and anecdotes make this player deserved recognition.
Both exhibitions will be complemented by the 28th of December, from 19.00, with a panel discussion with the title of grassroots football to professional football, led by Joaquín Martínez, director of communication Pinatar Arena, where John himself Huertas participate and Paco Sanchez, Manolo Palomeque, Efesé players in the 80s and 90s, Mariano Sanchez and captain of FC Cartagena Efesé Sergio Jimenez's squad, among others.
All these events will take place in the Social Center of Los Belones located on Main Street, next to the local church.
Visiting hours are from 10.00 to 20.00 hours.
