The painting course Experience Chest, targeting elderly and disabled, was closed in the day yesterday.
The event was attended by the director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, Antonio Mula and the thirty people who have participated in this training.
The workshop, which began on 10 October, the project is part of the Experience Chest, a program in which retired seniors volunteer their knowledge to others.
It comes as a pleasant activity that allows the largest share their free time and past experiences.
Encourage active participation of older people through such actions that occupy their leisure time creatively and orderly, develop their personal skills, promote social and cultural exchange, prevent situations of isolation and loneliness or improve their quality of life are, among others, the objectives of the Senior Program of the City of Cartagena.
