The Institute organizes Municipal Social Services, within the program of our biggest Christmas Cartagena City Council, the cooking workshop and Sweet Grandmother.
The event, which began yesterday and ends on Wednesday, December 12, deals with the preparation of the old recipes that made ​​our ancestors during this holiday season.
So, over these three days will be developed traditional sweets this time of year as the loaves of bread and greaves, or Easter candy Easter rolls.
The Christmas program our elders has been developing since last Dec. 2 when opened with the recital of carols and will run until January 5 to coincide with the traditional visit of the Three Wise Men to the elderly and sick children organized by Caritas and the biggest club Marfagones Molinos.
The program also includes a variety of activities aimed at the elderly as visits to the senior center, craft exhibits, hiking, cinema forum, food delivery, visit to the cribs, trips and toy drive.
