Sports Councilman Jose Cabezos, met today at the Palace Hall to four athletes who have succeeded in the Paralympic Games held recently in London and participating in activities organized in Cartagena on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
At ten o'clock, Cabezos held a meeting in the reception room with José Antonio Exposito athlete, gold medal in length, Miguel à ngel Clemente, Pursuit cycling bronze; Lorenzo Albaladejo, with two diplomas in Athletics; and Raul Diaz, who is supportive person without disabilities, and also participated in the Paraolimpiada.
In the program of the day, two conferences: one in the morning at 10.30 am at the Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso, student's degree, and one in the afternoon, open to the general public in Residence University Alberto Colao, at 19:30.
The purpose of these conferences is to arouse the interest of young people's experiences with disability groups, in this case through Sports, and present as an example of overcoming.
