The cultural heritage of the frigate Nuestra Senora de las Mercedes have been transferred to the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology - ARQUA in yesterday.

The logistical and security device has been developed successfully, without incident.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport wishes to thank the Security Forces of the State their ongoing collaboration throughout the process of custody and transfer of cargo.

According to the Action Plan lines designed, today ARQUA start in the technical work around these assets, which include the work of documentation, testing, treatment and restoration of the material recovered from the Mercedes.
