Local police have reviewed a dozen school buses within the Special Transportation School Campaign that has been done at the national level in collaboration with the DGT.
During this performance have been reported three vehicles that lacked the presence of a passenger aboard.
The campaign was carried out from 12 to 18 November. Vehicles have been revised to ensure that they met the proper authorizations and documents that the technical and safety features of the vehicle are required by the law, and that the driver complies with the special requirements for driver's license or driving and rest times.
In addition, agents also controlled the use of seat belts, speeding, or mandatory, for vehicles where at least 50 per 100 of the passengers are under 12, the p resence of a person accredited or monitor while performing such transportation.
With this campaign, the local police in collaboration with the DGT, aims to raise awareness of these drivers on the importance of caution, as they are one of the groups most at risk on the road.
