The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and Murcia Association of Consumers and Users, Consumur, presented yesterday at a press conference, the OviConsumo, an online service of consultation and advice regarding consumption aimed at students, administrative staff and services and faculty of the University, through the use of new technologies.

The service was introduced by the Vice President for Student and University Extension of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Francisco Martínez González, and the President of Consumur, Barceló Roberto Vivancos.

The OviConsumo is located in Cartagena, on the first floor of the Student House (Calle Del Angel, 26).

The service hours are Monday and Wednesday, from 12.00 to 14.00.

The general information service will be free of charge.

Through it you can have legal advice on consumer and extrajudicial defense by handling complaints, complaints and claims, for what will be required to join the organization, procedure can also be done through internet.

This service is developed under the collaboration agreement signed by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Consumur, through which is provided in addition to the implementation of the OviConsumo, conducting research projects, development programs social awareness in the field of consumption, the development of training courses, seminars and workshops, peer counseling and exchange of information and documentation, and work experience of students in the UPCT Consumur programs and centers.
