Cartagena is in addition to the activities to be carried out next week across the region to celebrate the European Day of Aquaculture.
The City Council is assisting Cartagena, which will take place in the port city on November 30.
The day will begin at 11 am with a lecture in the Auditorium of the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering UPCT, located on Paseo de Alfonso XIII.
The conference will focus on sustainability in marine aquaculture and research on reproduction of bluefin tuna in captivity.
At 12 hours there will be an exhibition of cutting marine aquaculture products on the Esplanade of Alfonso XII dock.
Soon after, at 13 hours, has scheduled a tasting of marine aquaculture products, also in port.
Aquaculture uses parenting techniques aimed at improving the performance of each species and is a source of employment, trade and economic development.
