The Municipal Institute of Social Services has taught municipal retirees to use the computer because the computer courses to level I and II have been provided within the program from October to December of the Department of Social Care.
The aim of these courses, which were closed on 19 November, has been to provide the knowledge and skills in the use of computers as necessary for our elders, so they can access new technologies, knowing and managing the various tools such as files, directories, typing, email, word processor, operating system and the Internet and other resources.
Senior Program Cartagena City Council aims, through the various courses, encourage active participation of older people.
This is scheduled several activities that occupy free time retirees.
